It's my first day at my new summer job
I stumble in late, looking like a slob
I get my first assignment, at the city yard

Sweatin' bricks in the heat of the sun,
Even summer school woulda been much more fun,
But here I am, at the top of a dump,
Unloading garbage from the back of a truck,

Just two more hours 'til my next coffee break,
Gotta keep on LIFTIN' and SWEEPIN' and WORK 'TIL IT ACHES,
Cos it's my first day at my new summer job,
